A treasure trove of photos and letters from Hollywood stars found in the office of the late film producer Elliott Kastner have sold for £25,000.<br />
<br />
The collection of behind-the-scenes snaps are like a who's who of Hollywood with pictures of Marlon Brando, Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Robert Downey Jr, Joan Collins, Michael Caine, Donald Sutherland and a young Frank Sinatra.<br />
<br />
The items were recovered from Kastner's office at Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire following his death in 2010.<br />
<br />
His family decided to put their father's legacy up for auction with Excalibur Auctions, Kings Langley, Herts, and the fascinating archive smashed its pre-sale estimate of £6,000.<br />
<br />
The collection of 109 lots included mementos from Where Eagles Dare (1968), The Long Goodbye (1973), and A Chorus of Disapproval (1989).
