Furniture, artwork and mementos belonging to the late British actress Dame Diana Rigg have sold.

Over 100 of the Avengers star's treasured household possessions were auctioned off from her estate following her death last year aged 82.<br />

A mid-18th century George II carved giltwood mirror fetched £10,800, while a Swiss 17th century silver gilt tazza (cup) made £8,900.<br />

The sale, conducted by London-based auctioneers Bonhams, also featured an Indian bronze Krishna figure and an Italian stiletto dagger.
