A golfer is back on his game after discovering an old earbud that had been stuck in his ear for five years was the cause of his bad swing.

A golfer is back on his game after discovering an old earbud that had been stuck in his ear for five years was the cause of his bad swing.

Wallace Lee, 66, was mystified after he went partially deaf and suffered a loss of balance without warning.

Wife Jeanette repeatedly told him over the past five years that he was going deaf and he put the loss of hearing down to old age.

Even when he developed an infection in his left ear, his GP couldn't find anything wrong due to the build up of wax and prescribed him antibiotics.
