Taken to the cleaners…

The annual spring clean at the Blandford Fashion Museum is nearing completion with the grand reopening taking place today (Mon 13/02/23).

Volunteers dust, hoover and deep clean the eclectic collection of over 5000 historic costumes, dresses, and uniforms that reflect over 250 years of changing tastes, materials and hemlines.

The clean up also involves the countless dummies, mannequins, wigs, artifacts and accessories that go along with the unique collection.
