A 38-year-old Ford Escort with just 30,000 on the clock has emerged for sale for an eye-watering £40,000.
The beige RS2000 was built in 1980 and is the racing version of Ford's mark two Escort which was released in 1974.
It has had just three owners since new, with its current owner, a renowned Ford collector owning the saloon since 2016.
Previously it had been in the same ownership since 1981, during which time is was perfectly maintained and looked after.
