This cheeky monkey stunned visitors to a remote Safari lodge high in the rainforest's of Uganda by hopping up onto a veranda and wandering into a room.

Instead of visitors having a hot and strenuous trek through the 'Impenetrable forest of Bwindi' to catch a glimpse of the elusive animals this inquisitive young Gorilla clambered up onto the veranda, peered into a room and then sat down to relax in the doorway in front of stunned guests.

Amateur photographer Sherry McKelvie was visiting a friend at the Engagi Lodge in Uganda, and did not even have a permit to track into the Reserve to look for the iconic gorilla's so was amazed when this inquisitive ape came looking for her.
