Full steam ahead for Swanage Railway reopening after lockdown<br />

Volunteers are gearing up for the reopening of one of Britain's most popular heritage railways.<br />

Swanage Railway in Dorset will resume running steam trains on Monday after the government gave the green light to easing coronavirus restrictions.<br />
<br />
The Purbeck railway has spent the fallow period by doing essential maintenance work on the locomotives, tracks and signals.<br />
<br />
They are attempting to raise £65,000 to complete a new carriage shed to store ten carriages which was interrupted by the pandemic.
