Full steam ahead for Swanage Railway reopening after lockdown
Volunteers are gearing up for the reopening of one of Britain's most popular heritage railways.
Swanage Railway in Dorset will resume running steam trains on Monday after the government gave the green light to easing coronavirus restrictions.
The Purbeck railway has spent the fallow period by doing essential maintenance work on the locomotives, tracks and signals.
They are attempting to raise £65,000 to complete a new carriage shed to store ten carriages which was interrupted by the pandemic.
