Farm park assistant Emma Shaw (28) knits a jumper for the Poll Dorset lambs.

These cosy lambs are getting into the festive spirit after being given their own knitted Christmas jumpers to wear.

Holly and Ivy are Dorset Poll sheep which are the only breed to be born year round.

The pair, the last of the year to arrive at an activity farm, were let outdoors with the rest of the lambs but staff brought them back inside when they noticed they were shivering.

And to give them extra insulation, they have knitted Holly and Ivy two seasonal sweaters to wear at night.

The woolly jumpers have been made to match their names, with red wool for Holly and a bright green colour for Ivy.
The two-month-old lambs wear the jumpers during the chilly nights at Farmer Palmers Farm Park near Poole, Dorset.
