Ahead of the curve...

An impressive 30ft model inspired by the iconic Bath Royal Crescent will welcome visitors back to a popular model village after three months of closure.

The large and intricate model is the newest exhibition added at Babbacombe Model Village in Torquay, Devon, which is set to reopen on July 4.

The fibreglass building has taken a team of four 12 weeks to construct and the finishing touches and figures are still to be added over the next few weeks, as the attraction's figure maker was furloughed because of the Coronavirus pandemic.
First the team made a silicone mould which they then fill and the model then has to be painted by hand, colour-washed to age it and all the details like street lights and fences are handmade.
