A vintage Ferrari racer that has been driven by some of the biggest names in motorsport has sold for a eye watering £17.3 million.<br />

The 290 MM dates back to 1956 and competed for the Ferrari Works team at some of the most prestigious events in the world. <br />
<br />
Among the legendary drivers to get behind the wheel of the two-seater were British icon Sir Stirling Moss and and five time F1 World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio.
