A miniature replica of Da Vinci's Last Supper depicting the iconic biblical scene in precise detail has emerged for sale.<br />

The strikingly beautiful tableau, measuring 37in long by 12in high, was carved by little-known German sculptor, Hans Mayr, in 1872.<br />
<br />
It shows an angelic Christ breaking bread with his 12 apostles based on the Gospel account.
