A complete collection of hilarious sketches by an early 20th century England cricketer touring Australia has emerged for sale at auction.

The group, entitled 'JN Crawford's Trip to Kangarooland' were drawn by England and Surrey all-rounder John Neville Crawford during the 1909 Ashes.

He created his 20 pen and ink illustrations under the pseudonym 'RIP' and they remain in pristine original condition, 112 years later.
