A much-loved ice cream seller was given a fitting send off by colleagues who followed his funeral cortege in a convoy of 10 ice cream vans.

John Lennie spent over 40 years selling ice creams from his trusty van in his local community.

So dedicated was he to his job that he was still doing his rounds just two days before he died at the age of 79.
His daughter, Jemma Lennie, led the procession in her father's old colourful truck at his funeral in Wimborne, Dorset.
