A beach hut on a remote sandbank has been put up for sale for £230,000 - the same price as a family home in many parts of Britain.
This timber hut is one of the most expensive on the desirable Mudeford Spit near Christchurch, Dorset, to come on the market.
It commands spectacular views across the Solent - although the vista is presently blighted by a rubbish skip dumped on the spit for beach hut owners to use over-winter when they usually do their repairs.
