A fascinating collection of photos showing Noel Coward and an assortment of showbusiness luvvies he shared his life with has been uncovered.

The previously-unseen black and white snaps depict the flamboyant star in the 1920s and '30s when he was at the height of his success as a playwright.

They were taken in the garden of his country house in Kent and on sun-kissed beaches of Jamaica where he also had a home.
