A piece of paper covered in Napoleon's doodles and his attempts at writing English words has been unearthed after 207 years.<br />

The 'Little General' was banished to the remote South Atlantic outpost in 1815 after his defeat at Waterloo.<br />
<br />
To pass the time, he did little geometric drawings and tried to learn English by writing down random words.
