Hut 1.
A group of of disgruntled beach hut owners are faced with a £500,000 legal bill after a failed court case against their 'unfair' landlord.
The five hut owners were disputing a new tenancy agreement which gave the owner of the land they are on the right to evict them with just
three months notice.
Howard Legg, whose family have rented the land at Portland Bill, Dorset, to hutters for 60 years, demanded all 71 tenants sign the deal but five refused.
They said the contract was illegal and it went back on a long-standing gentleman's agreement in place and took former mayor Mr Legg to court.
