A farmer who was inspired to buy a white Lotus Espirit car after watching the James Bond film The Spy Who Loved Me is selling it after keeping it in a barn for years.

The iconic Lotus is one of just 1,053 ever made by the famous British manufacturer and only a handful are known to survive today.

The vehicle will forever be remembered as the amphibious car Roger Moore used in the 1977 007 movie when it transformed into a submarine during a daring car chase.
