A handsome Georgian townhouse where a former Prime Minister held important meetings is on the market for £1.5m.

Glenhurst is a Grade II Listed home in Bewdley, Worcs, which was Stanley Baldwin's hometown.

The owners have minutes from a meeting held at the property over a century ago which show Baldwin's name listed.

Baldwin was Prime Minister three times between the First and Second World Wars and it is believed that during this time he used Glenhurst's wood-panelled dining room for meetings.
