These quirky cubed cottages with wedge-shaped roofs that stand out in the English countryside have gone on the market for up to £665,000.
The group of houses are near the Somerset village of Bruton, which has been dubbed 'the UK's most fashionable place to live'.
Cubis Bruton was conceived by land artist Mark Merer, who was asked by the local council to look at possibilities for the village's expansion ten years ago.
The end result is 67 three and four-bedroom futuristic houses that are a far cry from the average country cottage style.
The properties are individually designed but are based on the concept of open-plan living, said developers, the Acorn Property Group, and range in price from £570,000 to £665,000.
