A British angler is celebrating today after landing a world record halibut fish weighing over 159lb.
Steve Ace caught the monster flat fish while on a trip to Saltstraumen Brygge in Norway.
The 57-year-old said it was fate that the 6ft long specimen chomped his bait 'at the very first cast.'
His rod suddenly arched at a 90 degree angle before the fish bolted and he had to fight to bring it 450ft back to shore.
