Rare death masks made of two famous and controversial military leaders have emerged for sale for £22,000.
The chilling dead faces of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Soviet revolutionary Joseph Stalin are being sold by Essex-based auctioneers Sworders in their Out of the Ordinary sale.
The nearly two-century old plaster replica of Napoleon is believed to have been owned by the governor of St Helena, where Napoleon was exiled before his death.
The macabre relic is tipped to sell for £12,000.
