Rare death masks made of two famous and controversial military leaders have emerged for sale for £22,000.<br />

The chilling dead faces of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte and Soviet revolutionary Joseph Stalin are being sold by Essex-based auctioneers Sworders in their Out of the Ordinary sale.<br />

The nearly two-century old plaster replica of Napoleon is believed to have been owned by the governor of St Helena, where Napoleon was exiled before his death.<br />

The macabre relic is tipped to sell for £12,000.
