The moment a playful dolphin performs a perfect 10 somersault has been caught on camera.

The bottlenose dolphin was being tracked by wildlife ethusiast Bill Coulson in Brixham Harbour, Devon, when it suddenly jumped out of the water.

Luckily Bill was ready with his camera and took stunning shots of the mammal executing an immaculate flip through the air.

The young dolphin has been resident in Brixham Harbour for four months and has been affectionately nicknamed Whippersnaper by locals.
