Dogfighters...

Spitfire camoflaged as a Beagle...

A design studio has launched its own dogs of war - by cleverly blending iconic Second World War planes with their canine counterparts.

London-based INK created the impressive images by pairing a Spitfire with a Beagle, a Golden Retriever with a Wellington Bomber and a Schnauzer with a German bi-plane.

The intricate 3D drawings re-imagine key aspects from each plane into recognisable dog features.

The cockpits are transformed into furry eyebrows while the propellers become unmistakable wet noses.
The Dogfighters series will be sold online as a series of limited edition prints.
