One of the alleged burglars carries out the safe.

A businesswoman who watched in horror on her phone as burglars broke into her play centre and smashed up her office says she wishes she had never seen the footage.

Lisa Dennis, 52, was in the shower when she received a call from her security firm alerting her that the alarm at her business premises had been triggered.

Mrs Dennis' mobile phone is linked to a CCTV system at the centre, so while she was hurriedly getting dressed she checked the feed and was shocked to see two men ransacking her office.

Since Mrs Dennis lives only lives five minutes walk from her business she was quickly on the scene but the burglars had already fled with their ill-gotten gains.

They made off with £2,500 in cash - including £590 set aside for a nursery outing to the local zoo - and caused £10,000 of damage at Giggles Play Centre in Bournemouth, Dorset.

Mrs Dennis, 52, who has run the business for three and a half years, says she can't sleep at night because every time she closes her eyes she sees the burglars ransacking her business.
