A canny gin company is targeting tea drinkers with this quirky flavoured spirit that combines Britain's two favourite beverages.
Most people in the UK love a cuppa or a gin and tonic, depending on the time of day, so Masons Yorkshire Gin has created a tea-flavoured gin that gives drinkers the best of both.
The unusual tipple is made by literally ripping open Yorkshire Tea bags and adding the loose tea to the distillation process.
The finished product is a dry gin but with a strong smell and definite flavour of tea.
It would make the perfect Christmas present for a tea lover and gin enthusiast who cannot decide between their two favourite nightcaps.
