Eco-friendly officials in one of Britain's biggest holiday resorts have allowed cliff-top foliage to overgrow so much it is blocking the sea views.<br />

For decades visitors to Bournemouth's East Cliff have enjoyed the stunning vista of Poole Bay, taking in the Isle of Wight on one side and Sandbanks on the other.<br />
<br />
But now tourists are greeted by a 15ft wall of thick gorse and bushes when they stand or sit at the top of the 100ft cliff and look out to sea.<br />
<br />
Bournemouth Christchurch and Poole (BCP Council) declared a climate emergency in 2019 and brought in grazing goats to manage the cliff-side vegetation rather than use petrol-powered strimmers.
