The titanium and stainless steel HFL Kholod (a Hypersonic Flying Laboratory) is no pocket rocket - measuring 39ft long and weighing 5.5 tonnes - it can reach a top speed of almost 5,000mph over 6 times the speed of sound.
The rocket broke the air speed record for an unmanned vehicle in 1991 and held onto it for a decade but this one won't be going anywhere, as it has been disabled for safety.
The HFL was one of the first projects that Russia and America worked together on after the end of the Cold War.
