The parishioners to the only church on Sandbanks will be left in the dark if two luxury houses are built next to it, it is feared.
The Chapel of St Nicholas has skylights in its roof to let sunlight into the small building on the exclusive peninsula in Poole Harbour, Dorset.
But the chapel will be plunged into darkness if plans for a matching pair of three storey homes directly behind it are approved.
