A British helicopter pilot who risked his life to twice fly his Chinook helicopter into a battle-zone in Afghanistan and rescue wounded soldiers is selling his bravery medals.
Flight Lieutenant Tim Trott had to dodge exploding vehicle-mounted bombs, rocket propelled grenades and automatic weapons fire from the Taliban to land in the middle of a brutal firefight.
He and his crew held their nerve as numerous casualties were lifted into the back of the Chinook, which presented and big and easy target for the enemy.
He is now selling his DFC at auction.
