Great Scott!

A striking lighthouse once owned by a famous conservationist with views over one of England's 'last great wildernesses' is now on the market for £600,000.

East Bank Lighthouse, Lincs, was refurbished in the 1930s by writer, conservationist and co-founder of the wildlife organisation WWF, Sir Peter Scott.

It was at this Grade II* listed property that he created his wildfowl collection and inspired American writer Paul Gallico to write The Snow Goose (1941).

Now the unusual property is a nature lover's dream, with the nature reserve attracting wildlife including birds and seals.
