A pistol used by Sean Connery as James Bond in his final 007 role has emerged for sale for £70,000. ($100,000)

The late actor wielded the Hero Walther P5 semi-automatic 9mm pistol in Never Say Never Again (1983).

It can be seen in action scenes shot in the French Riviera as he is pitted against Bond villain Maximillian Largo.

The gun worked at the time of filming but it has since been deactivated.
