A hand-made set of incredibly detailed silver insects has emerged and is expected to fetch £80,000 at auction.

The beautiful collection features 12 life-life creatures including a dragonfly, praying mantis, stag beetle, hornet, locust, cricket, grasshopper and butterfly.

They were created by Takase Torakichi, also known as Takase Kozan, who was a well known artist in Japan in the late 19th century.
