The unique model was hand built by former circus worker David Hardie after he returned to Britain from Australia in the 1950's. <br />

'Silvers Model Circus' depicts, in perfect detail, every aspect of a huge travelling circus, and is brought to life by tiny, beautifully crafted, moving figures, from the artistes high in the Big Top to the cooks preparing a meal for the tent hands and the children playing outside their caravans.<br />
<br />
The 27ft automata is expected to sell for over £20,000 at Roseberry's auctioneers in Tooting later on this week.
