A sound move...
With its stunning location and fascinating history this former foghorn station will certainly give its new owners something to shout about.
The quirky property, which sits on the edge of a 200ft cliff near Whitby, North Yorks, has gone on the market as a home for only the second time in its history - for offers around £525,000.
Outgoing owners John and Janet Evans bought Whitby Foghorn Station in 2007 and modernised it to provide them with a stunning home and regular income from two holiday cottages on site.
The property was originally built in 1858, two years after Trinity House bought the land and was originally one of two lighthouses on the clifftop.
