Fully booked in 2018 and 2019.
Revealed - Britain's most booked up room...and it's on a windswept clifftop on the Dorset coast.

You might think the most popular getaway in Britain would be being pampered in a top London hotel or a swanky spa resort - but the Landmark Trust's Clavell Tower in Dorset is fully booked for the next two years - and hundreds of people are eagally awaiting the next release of dates to become avaiable.

Holidaymakers who want to stay in a stunning clifftop tower that inspired literary greats Thomas Hardy and PD James will have a long wait - as it is fully booked until July 2019.

The striking Clavell Tower overlooking Kimmeridge Bay in Dorset, is so popular the Landmark Trust, which runs the property, says as soon as six months of new dates are made available in the spring those will be booked up too.

The Grade II listed 40ft tower, which was built in 1830, was saved from a watery grave by the Landmark Trust, a building conservation charity, more than a decade ago and opened to the public as a quirky holiday let in August 2008.

Ever since then it has proved incredibly popular and currently has an 18-month waiting list - because that's as far ahead as the trust's booking calendar goes.
