Pictured: The top lot was a James Dean contract signed & also initialed 48 times with Warner Bros, for 'East of Eden', 'Rebel Without a Cause' and 'Giant', it was the contract that Made James Dean a Hollywood legend. It  fetched £18,500.<br />

A remarkable treasure trove of James Dean memorabilia which belonged to his agent has sold for £210,000. ($260,000)<br />

Jane Deacy, who guided him from unknown actor to Hollywood icon, kept hold of almost 400 items relating to the tragic American actor's short but glittering career.<br />

Top lots included Dean's original signed contract for East of Eden (1954), inscribed photos and personal letters revealing his insecurities.
