A former civil servant's remarkable lifetime collection of over 550 rare ceramics pieces has emerged for sale for £300,000.
Robin Simpson filled his Westminster apartment with colourful pottery, porcelain, enamels and prints dating from the late 17th century to the late Victorian era.
He purchased them at auction fairs around the world and displayed them on specially-made 10ft tall cabinets.
