British Gas veteran Darren Blackman stands proudly beside a replica of the first Vauxhall van he had as an apprentice over 30 years ago.

Darren bought the 1998 Astra MKIII in 2017 to mark his 25th anniversary since joining the company as a teenager in 1991.

Inspired by nostalgia, he gave the rusty old car a nut-and bolt restoration costing £4000 and transformed it into a perfect time warp.
