A glamorous collection of early French motorsport posters has emerged for sale with a British auction house for £25,000.
The earliest examples date from 1900 showing well-heeled Parisians chauffeured in vintage cars on the capital's streets.
The vehicles are flanked by marching bands with passengers in their finest clothes to reinforce the element of prestige.
There is a striking 1902 French poster of a British Mulberry car in the Scottish Highlands, while another celebrates the 1934 Grand Parade Vichy.
