The penny used in the coin toss at the 1966 World Cup final has sold for over £11,000.
The British copper coin was flipped into the air by Swiss referee Gottfried Dienst ahead of the England v West Germany final.
England captain Bobby Moore won the toss and he elected for England to play towards the tunnel end of Wembley stadium for the first half.
