A stunning Elizabethan manor house used as a hunting lodge by Elizabeth I's favourite is on the market for offers over £2m.
Bodidris Hall is Grade II* Listed and bears the heraldic badge - the bear and ragged staff - of Robert Dudley, the Earl of Leicester.
Dudley, a favourite of Queen Elizabeth from her accession until his death in 1588, is said to have used Bodidris as a hunting lodge between 1563 and 1578.
The grand six-bedroom house was built for the Lloyds, an important gentry family who rose to prominence under the Tudors.
