Pictured: The cottage needs some work
A run-down cottage on the iconic 'Hovis Hill' has sold at auction for £165,000.
The Grade II Listed building is on Gold Hill in Shaftesbury, Dorset, which was made famous by the Boy on Bike television advert for Hovis bread.
Despite the fact the "derelict shell" needs a huge amount of work, the property sold for more than its £150,000 guide price with Symonds & Sampson.
Auctioneer Jan Merriott said the fixer-upper was not for the faint-hearted and several potential buyers left their viewing very quickly.
