A collection of travel documents relating to the Beatles legendary trips to Hamburg have sold at auction for almost £140,000.
The documents, including John Lennon's VISA permits, date back to the early 60s, when the band would regularly play gigs in the German city.
The first temporary residency permit is dated August 16, 1960 and lists all five members of the Beatles at that time (including drummer Pete Best) and their Liverpool addresses.
