A collection of travel documents relating to the Beatles legendary trips to Hamburg have sold at auction for almost £140,000.<br />
<br />
The documents, including John Lennon's VISA permits, date back to the early 60s, when the band would regularly play gigs in the German city.<br />
<br />
The first temporary residency permit is dated August 16, 1960 and lists all five members of the Beatles at that time (including drummer Pete Best) and their Liverpool addresses.
