Pictured: Another stand-out item is a photograph presented to the former prime minister by the 22nd SAS Regiment after the successful storming of the Iranian Embassy after the siege in 1980.
A cache of forgotten gifts to Margaret Thatcher that were saved from a skip site have sold for £15,000.
The collection, including an oil painting of the former Prime Minister and a bronze bust of US President Ronald Reagan, had been locked away in a storage unit for years and forgotten about.
The general practice for storage units is to send any unclaimed items to landfill.
They were recovered by the vendor's father who worked at a tip in the London area when he salvaged them in the early 2000s.
He was allowed to take them home and when he died five years ago the items were handed down to his son.
