Celebrity chef Mark Hix MBE has been forced to eat humble pie and tear down an illegal decked seating area outside of his luxury seafood restaurant.
The Great British Menu star slammed 'petty' councillors in Lyme Regis, Dorset, as he began to remove the £20,000 wooden structure.
The 60-year-old had been in a four month dispute with local bureaucrats over the three-tier decking outside the prestigious Oyster and Fish House.
