Celebrity chef Mark Hix MBE has been forced to eat humble pie and tear down an illegal decked seating area outside of his luxury seafood restaurant.<br />

The Great British Menu star slammed 'petty' councillors in Lyme Regis, Dorset, as he began to remove the £20,000 wooden structure. <br />

The 60-year-old had been in a four month dispute with local bureaucrats over the three-tier decking outside the prestigious Oyster and Fish House.
