An ariel view of Sandbanks.

Mind the gap!

Two detached houses have been built on the millionaire's resort of Sandbanks with just 10 inches between them.

The narrow properties have been squeezed onto one plot and despite being so small, they are are worth £745,000 each.

The buildings both feature three bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open plan kitchen and living room, and a basement.

A standard detached home in the exclusive area of Poole, Dorset, normally costs around £4 million and are double the size.

Due to the overhang of the cladding they appear to be just 10 inches apart from the front view, but from the back garden, they are separated by 2.6 feet.

The properties, named Tom and Jerry, were designed and built by Seven Developments, owned by former AFC Bournemouth chairman Eddie Mitchell.
