A letter from Diana to Cyril dated March 20, 1985 in which she wishing him a speedy recovery from his illness sold for £4,065.

Heartwarming unseen letters from Princess Diana in which she speaks of Prince William's love for his younger brother and Prince Harry's rebellious side have sold at auction for a total of £19,185.

In the letters to the late Cyril Dickman, who served as a steward at Buckingham Palace for more than 50 years, she spoke of how William 'could not stop kissing' Harry after he was born in September 1984.

One particularly touching letter to Mr Dickman, dated March 2, 1985, reads: "William adores his little brother and spends the entire time swamping Harry with an endless supply of hugs and kisses, hardly letting the parents near!"
The letters were sold individually at Cheffins auctioneers today.
