Sir Sean Connery's very own Aston Martin DB5 has sold for £1.8 million.
Unbeknown to most people, the late Scottish actor only realised a long-held dream of owning an Aston Martin DB5 like the one he famously drove in Goldfinger late on in life.
He bought the 1964 luxury motor from Aston Martin dealers RS Williams of Surrey and had it resprayed in the same snow shadow grey as the one in the classic 007 film.
