Every schoolboys dream come true...<br />

A special edition Superman comic that was commissioned for £10,000 by a father for his son's birthday has emerged for sale.<br />
<br />
'The Island Bradman' is a cartoon featuring the famous superhero alongside 13-year-old comic fan Daniel Bradman and his family and friends.<br />
<br />
The story follows the young teenager, his best friend Andrew, parents and Superman as they are captured by aliens and transported to a different world.<br />
<br />
The comic book was commissioned in 1988 by Daniel's father, Godfrey Bradman, a billionaire property developer from London, as a special birthday surprise.<br />
<br />
It cost him a staggering 10,000 pounds and was a special gift to his son at the Jewish ceremony.<br />
<br />
Around 200 copies of the cartoon were made and were handed out to friends and family, including a former employee of the Bradman's who has kept it in mint condition.<br />
<br />
The comic is expected to fetch £2,000 when it goes under the hammer at  Catherine Southon Auctioneers and Valuers, near Croydon in Surrey.
